First Half of Program
The spinal cord is simply a bunch of nerves. Its function is not so simple, though, and it is extremely important: the spinal cord allows the brain to communicate with the rest of the body. When the spinal cord is damaged, victims can experience a life-changing loss of function of their limbs. The first step to handling a case involving catastrophic injuries understands the systems of the body. Professor Sam Hodge and Dr. Virginia Graziani Lowe will break down those systems with every-day language and easy-to-remember analogies.

Second Half of Program
Skilled trial attorney, Richard Jurewicz, moderates a panel that weighs in on both sides of the catastrophic case. Learn how to develop these type of cases by retaining the right experts needed to maximize a Defendant’s financial exposure. The panel provides a step-by-step look at developing a case for damages: gathering and developing medical evidence and witnesses, and creating photographic and videographic evidence to fully portray a plaintiff’s damages.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
