The poet Archibald MacLeish once observed that for an "authentic" artist, "a few masterpieces can last across the years." While there may be room to argue whether lawyers are poets, artists, or simply people who "do law," no one can deny that lawyers leave the mark of their brushstrokes upon the canvasses of human lives. As they do so, these "painters from the legal palette" may find themselves wondering whether, indeed, a few masterpieces can sustain a lawyer's lifetime. And what about only one? Please join Randy Lee as he journeys from bail hearings at the Roundhouse in Philadelphia to the ruins of Thornfield Hall in Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre" in search of answers to these and other questions that have been known to cross a lawyer's way.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
