SEMINAR

As a large portion of our population is entering the later years of their lives, it is important to recognize the signs where a Guardianship or Long Care Planning may be necessary. Older clients are more likely to decline within months, not years, changing the tone of meetings from “if” to “when” something happens. An older client may also put the attorney in a situation where the attorney has to consider whether their client can take care of themselves. While your client may be convinced that they have capacity and do not need any assistance, when should you, as the attorney, step in and override the client’s wishes to implement a plan that is in their best interest?

Reservations due to the ECBA office by August 6, 2026.

Cancellation Policy for ECBA Events/Seminars: Cancellations received on or before the last reservation deadline will be fully refunded. Cancellations received after the deadline or non-attendance will not be refunded.
