SPEAKER

Dr. Allison Muller is a board-certified toxicologist (D.ABAT), a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (FAACT), an affiliate fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology (AFACMT), and a registered pharmacist with over 30 years of experience in clinical toxicology. After a nearly 20-year career leading the Poison Control Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which included consulting on toxicology cases from 21 counties in Pennsylvania and Delaware, Dr. Muller is now an independent consultant specializing in medical communications and providing expert witness testimony in cases involving medications, alcohol, chemicals, and environmental toxins. She is also in her 21st year as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she teaches pharmacology, toxicology, and professional development to first- and second-year veterinary medicine students.

SEMINAR

Dr. Muller will provide attorneys with insight on effectively choosing, engaging with, and preparing expert witnesses for testimony to optimize their role in litigation. Attorneys will learn practical strategies for building relationships with expert witnesses, including effective communication and collaboration techniques. Additionally, Dr. Muller will provide tips on addressing common pitfalls when working with experts and ensuring that experts deliver compelling presentations at deposition and trial. By offering a non-attorney perspective on the expert witness experience, this program aims to equip attorneys with tips and insight to enhance their litigation strategies.
