Now more than ever! That is the theme this year for Erie Gives Day and it is so true. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of our lives in many ways including the unexpected cancellation of any fundraising events for the Erie County Law Foundation.
Our two worthy programs: the Chief Justice Samuel J. Roberts Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to law school students from Erie County, Pennsylvania, enrolled in accredited Law Schools; and "Attorneys & Kids Together" provides support for educational needs of Erie County children living in homeless situations. Both need your support.
Please consider a gift to the Erie County Law Foundation on August 11th between 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for one or both of these worthy causes! Look for the heading of "Attorneys and Kids Together" on the https://www.eriegives.org/ website and when we receive the your donation we will confirm which program it will go towards.
Additional information is enclosed including a check donation form if that is your preferred way of donating (checks must be made payable to the Erie Community Foundation). Donating by check is a great alternative for larger donations from an IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
On behalf of the ECLF Board of Trustees, your consideration is deeply appreciated!
