The purpose of the ECBA Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to residents of Erie, Pennsylvania who are entering their second or third year at an ABA accredited law school.
You may complete the on-line application or request an application from the Erie County Bar Association, 302 West Ninth Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16502, (814) 459-3111. Announcements of the availability of the scholarship are made annually. Applications must be completed and returned to the Erie County Bar Association by June 30 of each year.
Second year recipients of a scholarship must reapply as they enter their third year, following the same procedures.
The ECBA Scholarship Committee reviews all applications, basing their evaluation on numerous factors including financial need. The Scholarship Committee is composed of members of the Erie County Bar Association.
