ECBA Live Seminar
presented in cooperation with the Estates and Trusts Section
This seminar has been approved by the PA CLE Board for 3 hours of substantive law credits.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
Speaker: J. Paul Dibert
J. Paul Dibert Consulting
Having presented a basic seminar in Erie on January 20, 2012, J. Paul Dibert returns to offer a "hands-on" program providing five to six inheritance scenarios ranging from mildly difficult to unique in the nature of assets, distributions requirements and procedures - all with the goal of helping you to file the best return with the Department of Revenue. Additional "hot topics" to be discussed include the new mineral rights policy issued by the Department of Revenue; the policy on termination of "sole use trusts"; the Leitham and Berknecker decisions by the Commonwealth Court; and any additional policy or court decisions that can assist you - the estate representative - with your duties.
The current time frame for returns to be processed by the inheritance tax division and the policy by the Board of Appeals to accept compromise offers on cases that go before the Board will also be reviewed. There will be a question and answer period before the break and at the end of the presentation.
Reservations due to the ECBA office no later than Friday, April 5.
